Anushyam Janhitkari Samiti is a registered non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to the upliftment, empowerment, and development of every section of society — including men, women, and children. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, the organization is committed to fostering inclusive and sustainable change through welfare, training, education, and social awareness programs.

For over two decades, the Samiti has been actively implementing a wide range of impactful projects under various government and self-driven initiatives — such as adolescent empowerment, rural development, women rehabilitation, literacy promotion, environmental conservation, road safety, tree plantation, and community welfare.

With support from departments like the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and the Social Welfare Board, the organization has successfully reached thousands of lives across multiple districts.

The Swadhar Shelter Home, operated by the Samiti, provides distressed and abandoned women with access to shelter, food, clothing, legal aid, vocational training, psychological support, and children’s education — all under one roof.

Through sewing and cutting skill programs, livelihood workshops, legal awareness campaigns, and collaborative projects with government bodies and industries, the organization continues to promote self-reliance, social integration, and equal opportunity for all.
